Erasmus University starts new post-initial programme in Policy Economics

On 1 November, Erasmus University Rotterdam is launching a new post-initial programme in Policy Economics in The Hague, the city of policymakers. One of the initiators is Bas Jacobs, Professor of Public Economics at Erasmus School of Economics.

According to Professor Jacobs, it is tremendously useful for more experienced policy economists to refresh their knowledge and discover new and relevant insights from the academic world: ‘The target group comprises experienced economists involved in general economic issues. These are people from Ministries, planning bureaus, economic bureaus in banks and pension funds, as well as economic journalists, for example.’
