The University Library provides trial access to INSPEC until 30 June. This bibliographic database provides abstracts and indexing to the world's scientific and technical papers in engineering, electronics, communications, computing, and information technology. For researchers at Erasmus University the records of interdisciplinary journals on sustainable development, energy, climate, and education could be especially interesting.
Created by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), this leading bibliographic database has a strong coverage of engineering and technical sciences. However, real life problems such as climate change and sustainable development require interdisciplinary research solutions, which is also reflected in the records in INSPEC. Indexed journals include ‘International Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education,’ ‘International Journal of Business and Globalisation,’ ‘Smart Cities,’ ‘Digital Policy, Regulation and Governance,’ ‘Energy Policy,’ and more. INSPEC also indexes more than 6 million conference items, plus preprints, books, dissertations, patents, reports and videos.
Please inform us if you think the University Library should provide access to INSPEC beyond June 2022.
