The Erasmus University has been collecting art for over 50 years, among other things to engage students and employees in art. But how do the employees look at the collection? With this question in mind, the Erasmus Gallery asked the people of Documentary Information (formerly known as Mail & Logistics) to select works for an exhibition in the Erasmus Gallery.
A lively conversation followed, in which was decided to select based on feeling.‘With art, it’s just like it is with music. It either touches you, or it doesn’t.’ With an open minded approach the database and the depots were searched, with this fresh and diverse exhibition as a result.
All employees are invited to attend the presentation of the exhibition, opened by our dean Philip Hans Franses.
