Alternative assessment & formative feedback toolkit

CLI Fellowship of Dimitrios Vlachopoulos

The Community for Learning & Innovation (CLI) gives lecturers from Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) the opportunity to apply for a fellowship. With this fellowship, they research educational innovation, or carry out an educational project.
On this page you can read more about the CLI Fellowship of Dimitrios Vlachopoulos (RSM) about a better understanding of (alternative) formative assessment and feedback (FAF) approaches across RSM.

This project aims to gain a better understanding of (alternative) formative assessment and feedback (FAF) approaches across RSM, through a digital & evidence-informed approach. Specifically, a digital toolkit will be created as a result of a systematic literature review, empirical approach to needs analysis & prototyping with the participation of researchers, innovation experts, IT experts, teaching staff and students. The toolkit will include good practices on FAF, tutorials on how to integrate alternative assessments in the teaching practice, guidelines on formative feedback, and a protocol to measure the impact and disseminate success stories. The toolkit, which is expected to enhance teaching quality & student experience, will be evolving & could be expanded with the inclusion of similar resources from other EUR Schools.
