Dr. Eduard Klapwijk, Research Data Steward at the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences, will take us through the opportunities of sharing materials other than research data. We will focus on how to make sure the materials are prepared, so that you can demonstrate the power of your inquiry and that other researchers can re-use your data and materials.

After an introductory talk, we will dive the room into groups and work together on different use cases that will help bringing the lecture learnings into practice.

After completion of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • explain the importance of documenting your data and research process;
  • explain the importance of sharing materials and (parts of the) data;
  • identify different levels of data processing and levels of data access for data and materials;
  • and find available resources and support for research data management.
