You've probably already seen the sculpture of the girl with the sneakers in front of Central Station. Now, for the first time, there is a major solo exhibition in the Netherlands featuring the work of British artist Thomas J Price. Join us for a tour of the exhibition at the Kunsthal.

With his enormous sculptures of contemporary and recognizable figures, he tries to make the viewer aware of stereotypes surrounding representation and identity. And even though they are often executed in traditional materials such as bronze, marble or gold-plated, the creation of the sculptures is not. Using 3-D scanners and different models and poses, he creates new imaginary figures.

During the tour, the guide will take us past the various works of art and tell us more about how he works.

The tour will be English spoken and only accessible for EUR-students.

After the tour there is still time left until closing time to take a walk around by yourself through the rest of the exhibitions.
