Join RGHI’s Early Career Researcher (ECR) Event to learn about the research being conducted by young global health academics. The objective of this session is to showcase and expose the promising and exciting research of young scholars. The invitation to join this event is open to researchers from all career stages.

Participation is free of charge, but registration is required. There will be a maximum number of seats available. Registration is possible until Friday 28th of February 2025.
The session will consist of three presentations from two ECRs and one RGHI management team member:
- Dr. Ananthu James (Post-doctoral Researcher from the Erasmus MC Public Health Department)
"The elimination of river blindness in Africa" Sean Richardson (PhD student from Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management)
"Tuberculosis screening and treatment adherence in South Africa"
- Dr. Carlos Riumallo Herl (Associate Professor from Erasmus School of Economics)
"Risk tailored incentives for cardiovascular disease screening in El Salvador"
The presentations are followed by a short round table session dedicated to our early career researchers to explore with them needs and interests for future activities and support from the Rotterdam Global Health Initiative. At the end of the session, you are all invited for drinks at the Erasmus Paviljoen.
