On 7 November 2023, a day before the official celebration of the 110th anniversary of Erasmus University Rotterdam, a policy afternoon will take place for researchers and policymakers.
Keynote by Prof. Guido Imbens, winner of Nobel Prize in Economics 2021
In 2021 Guido Imbens, Josh Angrist and David Card received the Nobel Prize in Economics for initiating a credibility revolution in empirical research. As a result of their contributions and the increasing availability of data we can now much better determine the effects of policies in education. An important question is how to exploit this development for improving the quality of education and the quality of policy.
On this policy afternoon we want to discuss this question with Guido Imbens, winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics, representatives from the education and policy sector and other participants.
