Brief summary on the aim of the doctoral thesis:

A major challenge in the treatment of patients with cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is to predict which patient benefits the most from a certain treatment. The aim of this thesis was to further explore prognostic factors for short- and long-term outcomes of patients with CCA after surgical or nonsurgical treatment.
