For our last book club of the season, we will be reading a substantial novel: Mohamed Mbougar Sarrs De diepst verborgen herinnering van de mens (2022). This fourth novel by the French-Senegalese Sarr won the prestigious Prix Goncourt in 2021 and the Dutch translation was praised by critics.
Expect an unforgettable reading experience, a labyrinthian structure, love, friendship and literary criticism. We will discuss this novel on Wednesday the 21st of May.
