This seminar brings together the actors within installers’ ecosystems - including manufactures, material suppliers, energy- and heating utilities, training centres, researchers and policy makers – critically discussing the challenges and opportunities of installers in sustainability transitions. The seminar is a timely opportunity to engage in dialogue on core themes affecting installers and sustainability transitions, including: digitalisation; energy poverty; material- and labour shortages; urban policies and climate goals; changing business models and frugal innovation.
The seminar features presentations by researchers on the results and future scenarios of the research project and by experts presenting best practices from the cities of Gothenburg and Rotterdam. The event will end with a networking drink where participants can also enjoy a mini exhibition with innovations developed for or by installers. The full programme will follow soon.
