GenAI offers many opportunities, but also brings along some challenges. That's why the GenAI Monthly Meetup was setup, to bring EUR GenAI enthusiasts together for knowledge sharing and hands-on practice. During this edition, Rolf Viervant (ESPhil) will facilitate a session on asking questions with/to GenAI.

Generative AI is nowadays widely used in academia. This raises many questions. Questions about what we (staff and students) should learn. Questions about what we should know. And questions about what we should, and should not do.
But what about generative AI itself? If this software is indeed somewhat intelligent, academia might as well ask these questions the other way round. What should generative AI bots learn? What should generative AI bots know? And what are the things that generative AI bots should and should not do?
What principal values and practical norms would generative AI programs need to fit our academic standards? And how could we successfully educate them?

About the GenAI Monthly Meetups
GenAI offers amazing opportunities, but also brings along some tough challenges. Instead of working on GenAI by yourself, join a group of curious, collaborative, and friendly fellow EUR GenAI enthusiasts—students, teachers, and staff—for knowledge sharing and hands-on practice.
Collaboration: Connect with like-minded individuals to share successes, tackle challenges and brainstorm solutions in a supportive environment.
Guest speakers: Occasionally we will invite guest speakers who will share the latest insights, practical applications, and future trends in Generative AI.
Flexible Participation: No obligations! Attend at your convenience and engage with us when your schedule allows.
