On the top of the list of the 21st century skills, are three learning or inquiry skills: critical thinking, creative thinking, and problem solving.
How can and should these skills be developed in higher education? What could and should we change to our vision, curricula, courses and teachings to really foster the student’s critical creative problem solving skills? In this session, Tim De Mey (ESPhil, CLI-fellow) first makes some provocative, far-reaching claims, and then tones them down a little, to facilitate a good old fashioned exchange of views.
