This April, in celebration of the month of philosophy, we are honored to welcome Ronald van Raak, a distinguished professor of Erasmian Values at Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) and a member of the Council for Public Administration (ROB), to deliver a compelling lecture on the significance of Erasmus, exploring how he became a symbol for Rotterdam and the reasons behind the naming of Erasmus University Rotterdam after this illustrious philosopher.
Through this lecture, Professor van Raak will illuminate the profound connection between the name Erasmus and the core human values and roles it represents, far beyond mere marketing. Attendees will be invited to engage in an enlightening discussion on the values upheld by companies and organizations and their implications for the roles young professionals are destined to play in society.
Following the insightful discourse, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a deeper exploration of the themes presented over drinks. Next to that, there will be plenty time to engage in networking with other young professionals based in Rotterdam.
