The focus on diversity and inclusion in higher education has shifted from incidental to structural. A positive development. How can we ensure a structural approach to changes in our regular processes, curriculum content and in competencies of higher education professionals? To create equal opportunities much more attention, among other things, is needed for the paths young people take on their way to higher education.
Day 1 of the summit (Thursday, December 1) will focus on the metropolitan equal opportunity approach of Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) and the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA). On Day 2 (Friday, December 2), we focus on the work of the Advisory Committee on Diverse and Inclusive Higher Education and on the Research and Approach Against Discrimination in Internships in Higher Education.
