'Top Programme' award and positive feedback of the accreditation panel for Erasmus University College

Positive accreditation outcome

Each university programme in The Netherlands is periodically reviewed by The Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO). This ensures that university progammes offer quality education. At the end of 2024 Erasmus University College concluded the accreditation process with positive feedback across all aspects of our programme. Here are some of the concluding statements of the accreditation panel:

• We distinguish ourselves through connections with the city of Rotterdam and through offering distinctive specialization opportunities. 
• There are some impressive examples of opportunities offered to students to step outside the college and engage with societal issues
• The panel was very positive about the broadening and development of personal attitudes and skills besides the more academic attitudes and skills. 
• The programme is taught by enthusiastic, dedicated, high-quality and didactically skilled staff who form a vibrant learning community with the students.
• The facilities clearly promote the learning community and are well-suited for small-scale learning.

The recent accreditation outcome is highly positive, reflecting the hard work and dedication of the Erasmus University College community. In addition, the panel offered valuable recommendations to further strengthen the programme, and we are committed to their implementation.

EUC's Bachelor in Liberal Arts and Sciences awared the "Top Programme" label

The end of 2024 also marked the release of Keuzegids Universiteiten 2025 – the annual, independent guide that assesses and compares the quality of all bachelor's in The Netherlands. We’re happy to announce that Erasmus University College received the 'Top Programme' Award! This label is awarded to the programmes with the highest scores across assessment areas such as curriculum, atmosphere and teaching. 

Both the accreditation and the 'Top Programme' Award have recognised the high quality of Erasmus University College. This is a real testament to the hard work and commitment of EUC staff, students, and alumni. We're proud of what we've achieved together, and we also look forward to further improving our programme.
