The strong focus on innovative and robust ways of learning in this master track has helped me coach many students to success.
Remy Reurling
Alumnus Educational Psychology: Learning and Performance, currently working as Conversation & UX Designer
I am currently employed by Fides Studiebegeleiding. Next to that, I am starting my own company called Helpr.
Fides is a private institute that helps students in secondary education with a multitude of their school-related troubles. This help includes remedial teaching, psychological and pedagogical support, and teaching students the process of studying. I fulfill the role of teacher, study counselor, coach and confidential counselor.
Furthermore, within Helpr, which is a start-up company that makes chatbots for education, I am the UX-designer and quality manager for didactic content.
Both of these functions require a high level of knowledge on the subjects of education, didactics, pedagogy and science. The Master’s programme Educational Psychology: Learning and Performance taught me all the tools needed to succeed in fulfilling both roles. The Master’s programme's strong focus on innovative and robust ways of learning has helped me coach many students to success. The one lesson I always keep at the back of my head is that motivation is the key to learning. Be aware of what drives you, so you are able to learn and prosper.
