I am currently working as a Secretary of Strategic Management and Innovation at the Municipality of Cotia, Greater São Paulo. I am responsible for the department of budgetary planning, partnerships, IT and innovation. I aim to articulate knowledge, ideas, and actions in order to implement innovative public policies to affect our citizens’ lives.
The master programme has taught me to be aware of the importance of involving all the various stakeholders in the best possible horizontal way during all policies' processes. Although working with these networks is challenging, the outcomes are worthwhile.

Raphael obtained a Bachelor in International Relations in Sao Paulo, Brasil, before starting his Master Governance and Management in the Public Sector at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
