Biography
David Blok is an academic researcher at the Erasmus Movez Lab. In June 2018, he successfully defended his dissertation, entitled “Introducing systems approaches to health behavioral research”. His current research focuses on developing and applying complex system methods, in particular agent-based modeling, to study health behaviors in the context of (online) social networks. Next to his work at the Erasmus Movez Lab, he also has a position as a senior scientist of infectious disease modeling at the Department of Public Health at Erasmus MC.
Research interests: health, health behaviors, complex systems, agent-based modeling
