The nominees for the Best EGSH Teacher 2022 are:

  • Job van Exel
  • Gerben Tuin
  • Marjolijn Das en Ruben van Gaalen
  • Marleen de Moor

The award for Best EGSH Teacher 2022 goes to Marleen de Moor!

For her course ‘Multilevel modelling’ Marleen received a very high evaluation from the participating students. This is very impressive because this was the first time she taught the course about multilevel modelling at our graduate school and it is not an easy subject.

Despite that, the students had words of praise for her “The course provided a great introduction to multilevel modelling. By building up from the theoretical foundations, followed by a step-by-step overview of the execution, and application to our own research topics/data, the course really provided everything one would expect from a Graduate School course. Dr. de Moor clearly has expert knowledge on the topic, found innovative ways to teach it, and was able to tailor the sessions to the specific needs of the group. Her personalized approach, focusing on our particular research questions and data sources, made this course a very valuable preparation for my dissertation.”

Thank you, Marleen!
