  • Support in organizing pilot-courses and course evaluations;
  • Support in keeping contact with and reporting to Education Committee and Faculty Council;
  • Incidentally, support in educational research (e.g., pulling relevant passages out of books and articles) to support educational choices for designing these courses;
  • Other to be determined according to the applicant’s abilities and initiatives.

Expectations and Profile:

  • You are at least a second year Bachelor student;
  • Pro-active and enterprising attitude: you independently diagnose where more work could and should be done, and act on it;
  • Organized and professional; able to coordinate projects across many participants and to manage working hours effectively;
  • Having some knowledge on related Bachelor-courses (Loopbaantraject, Filosofen aan het Werk) is a plus;
  • Acquaintance with internships and project-courses at other faculties is a plus;
  • Basic academic research skills and interest to learn more;
  • Interest in interdisciplinary/transdisciplinary research and public impact;
  • Fluency in Dutch and English;
  • We are looking for someone who would like to think along and contribute to achieve excellence in these new courses; someone who wants to get something done and is not afraid of doing some leg-work to get it done.

Terms and conditions
The successful candidate is expected to start in November or December 2020. You will receive a contract for 8 hours a week. Your working hours are flexible and your lectures and tutorials will be taken into account.

Additional information can be received by contacting both Prof. Liesbeth Noordegraaf-Eelens and Reindert Engwerda via e-mail: noordegraaf@esphil.eur.nl and engwerda@esphil.eur.nl respectively.
