MA Philosophy
In this year’s Selection Guide Masters the quality of the lecturers in the MA Philosophy was especially appreciated, including their involvement with the students in supervision and feedback, as well as their professional know-how. The quality of the programme itself is also highly valued. This aspect covers the level of the materials, the cohesion of the methods used, and the overall quality. Students are also content with the studyability of the programme and the assessment methods.
Research Master in Philosophy and Economics
According to the Keuzegids 2019, the Research Master in Philosophy and Economics is a real winner. This research master is highly recommended if you are interested in philosophy and economics. The programme is assessed extremely well on almost all criteria, such as the quality of the programme, assessment methods, quality of lecturers, the feasibility of the programme and guidance by lecturers. The research master in Philosophy and Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam is the highest scoring research master in Philosophy in the Netherlands.

In total, 131 master's programmes achieve a score of 75 points or more on a scale of 20 to 100 and may thus call themselves ‘Top-rated programme’ for a year. It is mainly small-scale studies that have received high scores.

The Selection Guide Masters compares and reviews all master programmes at Dutch universities. The quality reviews are derived from the national student survey and from experts of the NVAO. The Selection Guide Masters is published by the Centre for Higher Education Information.
