Inspiring a new generation
Minor
We have an exciting new minor in our offer. In the minor Sports and Society students will learn to critically assess the role of sports in our society. In this unique, multidisciplinary minor, sports will be examined from different perspectives, including economics, philosophy, history and media studies. Master
By continuing the successful EUR Minor ‘Sports & Society’, elaborating this into a new EUR Master program Sport, Governance & Social Responsibility, we allow for interaction between research and impact-driven teaching, involving both Bachelor and Master students in research and societal interaction projects.
Master Classes
ESPRIT will develop open-access short term curricula for a broader audience, addressing actual challenges in the field of sport integrity:
- Sport ethics in a changing world
- Gender diversity, fairness and inclusion
- Sport & politics
- Embodiment and harassment
- Match fixing and undermining
Valorisation
ESPRIT’s embedded ethics services contain in-company education into improving moral resilience and accelerating transition. In addition, we combine research with impact and valorization, through commissioned research projects, training and advice, engaging our national academic, professional and policy networks. Through qualitative research, curriculum development, action research, co-creation, transition programs, advising and coaching, ESPRIT’s knowledge will disseminate throughout the Dutch sports community, combining academic publications with publications in professional journals and public media, conferences, guest lectures, keynotes, webinars and podcasts.
