Study abroad
Would you like to go and study abroad for a while during the course of the programme? During the master in Health Care Management, you can.
The master in Health Care Management provides for the option to take elective courses abroad. Living and studying in a different environment naturally is a boost to your personal and professional development. And more often than not you’ll find it an unforgettable experience. Moreover, it can help your further career. Students who can include international experience in their resume are attractive candidates for most employers. There is every reason, therefore, to consider studying abroad during the master programme.
Partner university
ESHPM offers a student exchange programme at the University of Oslo, Norway.
Would you like to study abroad but preferably at another university than the ones mentioned above? That is possible too. However, you will then have to make most of the arrangements yourself. Nevertheless, we will naturally assist you in finding a suitable university.
Internship
During the master Health Care Management you can apply for an internship. The internship prepares you for working in the healthcare field and improves your career prospects.
The internship / dual learning track is reserved for good and motivated students who are prepared to actively commit themselves to a good study result and an improved career perspective.
The dual learning track is one of the elective courses in the Health Care Management Master's programme (Personal Leadership Track). During a period of at least five months for two days a week (minimum 360 hours), you will work alongside your studies at a healthcare organization (such as a healthcare organization, health insurer, Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, IGZ).
You get the chance to mirror your personal skills to experienced managers and to develop them further in assignments. Moreover, the dual learning track gives you a nice head start when looking for a suitable job after graduation.
