During the Heritage and Fashion course students attended two guest lectures given by Sonnet Stanfill (senior fashion curator, Victoria & Albert Museum, London) and Ninke Bloemberg (fashion curator, Centraal Museum Utrecht) about fashion curating. They learned about the role museums play in fashion heritage, the current issues and challenges surrounding the exhibition of fashion and the business models of museums. After these guest lectures, they learned to apply this newly acquired knowledge to their own case study as they focused on a specific challenge faced by the European Fashion Heritage Association.
