For the first time in history, England has achieved the title of European champion. The victory of the women's team is not in the least due to the efforts of their Dutch coach Sarina Wiegman. Soccer coaches are usually men, both in male and in female soccer teams. But why? Wiegman has proved once again that women do indeed possess the necessary skills. Prof.dr. Jacco van Sterkenburg talks about it with RTL Nieuws. Jacco is endowed professor at the Media & Communication department of the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication (ESHCC).
