During the master specialisation Media & Creative Industries, you will work on practical assignments, take part in discussions that show you multiple perspectives and receive guest lectures from professionals in the field, connecting classroom learning with practice.

The final step in the master specialisation is writing your master thesis. Students before you wrote their master thesis on topics such as ‘fan engagement and participation in cancel culture’, ‘the portrayal of female characters in teen dramas’, ‘Instagram’s influence on well-being during crises’, and ‘the resilience of the live music industry’.

What you will learn

You will learn to trace, analyse, and address key developments and challenges in the media and creative industries. You will bring theory into practice by diving into the challenges faced by real-life companies, managers, and works in the media sector and other fields. In an innovative and international environment, you will obtain professional and academic skills such as presenting, debating, writing, and will be trained to collect and analyse a variety of data.
