Vadym Volosovych new Programme Coordinator BSc Economics and Business Economics

From 17 May 2021 Dr Vadym Volosovych, Associate Professor of International Finance at Erasmus School of Economics is the new Programme Coordinator Bachelor Economics and Business Economics. He succeeds Dr Brigitte Hoogendoorn, who was appointed Programme Director earlier this year.

Vadym Volosovych, who started his career at Erasmus School of Economics in 2010, takes over the responsibility for the coordination of content and process of the curriculum. He supports Programme Director Brigitte Hoogendoorn with the quality assurance. In collaboration with her, Vadym Volosovych supervises the policy preparation and the development of educational projects for substantive and didactic improvements, and renewal. Hoogendoorn says: ‘I am convinced Vadym’s insights and (international) experience will be of great added value to our Economics & Business Economics programmes and I look forward to our cooperation.’

Vadym Volosovych has a proven track record in education and has experience with educational processes and projects. Since 2015 he is Associate Professor of International Finance at Erasmus School of Economics. In addition, he is a research fellow at Tinbergen Institute and a PhD coordinator in the Business Economics department, section Finance. A native of Ukraine, he received his PhD in economics from the University of Houston (USA) in 2006. He also holds a BSc in international economics and law from Dnipropetrovsk State University (Ukraine) and an MA in economics from the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" (Ukraine).
