Students Erasmus School of Economics receive bachelor’s diploma during festive ceremony

In total 596 graduated bachelor’s students of Erasmus School of Economics received their diploma in the presence of family and friends, during separate festive ceremonies in the auditorium on Woudestein campus on respectively Saturday 4 and 11 November 2023.

The students obtained a bachelor's degree in the programmes Economie en Bedrijfseconomie, Fiscale Economie, Econometrie en Operationele Research, International Bachelor Economics and Business Economics, Double Degree BSc2 in Econometrics and Economics or International Bachelor Econometrics and Operations Research.

On Saturday 4 November students of the Dutch programmes Economie en Bedrijfseconomie, Fiscale Economie and Econometrie en Operationele Research received their diploma. On Saturday 11 November students of the programmes IBEB, Econometrics and Bsc2 were presented with their diploma.

The festive programme contained several attractive items besides the diploma presentations. For example, on both days, the attendees were treated to inspiring (video) speeches by school’s representatives and alumni such as Larissa van Boxem and Jitte Dingenouts.

Larissa van Boxem graduated Cum Laude in 2021, with a master’s degree in Economics and Business, specialisation: Data Science & Marketing Analytics. A year later, in 2022, she obtained a second master’s degree, this time in the specialisation: Marketing. In that same year Larissa also started her professional career, first as a refinery analyst and currently as physical operator at Vitol, a multinational energy and commodity trading company.

Jitte Dingenouts graduated Cum Laude in 2021 with a master’s degree in Econometrics & Management Science, specialisation: Business Analytics & Quantitative Marketing. After doing some internships and working student positions within Data Science at Pipple and Bol.com, Jitte started her professional career in 2021. She is working both as a consultant and a data scientist at the leading consulting firm in digital transformation, IG&H.
