On May 19th, 2022 a historic moment took place on Erasmus University of Rotterdam: The reunion of the former marketing students of the "previous century" and their beloved professor Jan Bunt.
It was to celebrate the 50th year of Marketing (CBV) at Erasmus School of Economics and the Marketing Association (MAEUR) and 85th birthday of Jan Bunt. Many of the former students and staff of the faculty department were there and enjoyed meeting each other and Jan again.
Highlight of the gathering was the lecture of Professor Jan Bunt on the development of marketing in the past five decades. The audience listened attentively to his reading. At the end of the reading professor Jan Bunt was handed over the first copy of his new book on these marketing developments, with a separate Appendix with relevant marketing models.
Due to Corona the reunion took place two years later than originally planned. Though the enthusiasm of the former students, staff and Jan were great. If you are a former CBV-student or staff member of the previous century, 1969 – 1999, you can now register at the new LinkedIn group.
