As of September 2022, Jeroen Koenraadt will join the Department of Accounting at the London School of Economics as an Assistant Professor.
Jeroen completed his master’s degree cum laude in Accounting, Auditing and Control at Erasmus School of Economics in September 2017. He subsequently started his PhD at the Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM) under the supervision of Dr Edith Leung and Professor Jeroen Suijs. His research interests include market participants’ use of financial information, how regulation shapes financial information, and how information intermediaries analyse and disseminate information to level the playing field among investors.
During his PhD Jeroen visited the Department of Accounting at Columbia Business School (CBS) in New York from September 2019 till April 2020, which led to successful collaborations with CBS faculty. He has several papers in advanced stages of review, including an R&R at the top accounting journal The Accounting Review. Jeroen plans to defend his PhD dissertation in the Fall of 2022.
