'If share prices are influenced, so are investment decisions'

How do you calculate the losses investors suffered as a result of deception? Assessing the effects of incorrect information often looks like somewhat of an art form and generally takes place as a part of settlement negotiations. This is not very transparent. That is why lawyer and econometrist Arnoud Pijls from Rotterdam pleads to create a hard science around the subject.

Arnoud Pijls graduated in 2007. He defended his dissertation on damage assessment in case of responsibility as a result of misleading stock exchange information on 7 December 2018.
