Good scores for Erasmus School of Economics in EUR employee satisfaction survey 2018

Logo Erasmus School of Economics

Erasmus School of Economics passes with more than satisfactory grades based on an independent employee satisfaction survey which aims to assess how employees perceive both Erasmus School of Economics and Erasmus University Rotterdam. Compared to the results of an identical survey that took place in 2016, Erasmus School of Economics has remained stable and even improved itself substantially on the theme ‘loyalty’.

With a score of 7.6 the overall satisfaction among employees of Erasmus School of Economics is respectable and above benchmarks. In addition Erasmus School of Economics shows excellent results in seven out of nine themes, which is visible from the dark green colours in the following illustration:

For Sarah Wilton, Director of Operations, the results express satisfaction: ‘First of all it is good to see that many employees have responded to our call to fill in the survey. Furthermore I am very pleased with the nice results: the scores have remained the same in most parts. For 2019, we want to focus on maintaining the fine working atmosphere, dedicating ourselves to giving and receiving feedback and where possible on efficiency, all within our circle of influence.’

The detailed report will be available after 30 January and will be broadly discussed with the Directors and Management Team within Erasmus School of Economics, and followed-up with a concrete action plan. All paid employees, except student assistants, will soon receive an email from the Executive Board of Erasmus University Rotterdam, informing them on how to log in to consult the EUR-wide employee survey report.
