On March 5 2025, six alumni of Erasmus University visited campus Woudestein. All members of the former Staatkundig-Economisch Dispuut, a sub-association of the EFR.
The alumni who started their studies around 1975 still keep in touch regularly. For example, every five years they travel to Berlin. This is because they once went on a study trip to East and West Germany as students in 1979 to study economics and constitutional law. The visit to their "old" University was organized by Alumni Affairs Director Charles Hermans. The visit ended with attending a lecture by Prof. Lans Bovenberg as part of the series "Academische Vergezichten. As a thank you for the visit, the group made a generous donation to the Erasmus Trust Fund. The Erasmus Trust Fund enables amongst others, education to disadvantaged young students to develop themselves into leaders of the future generation.
