Erasmus School of Economics hosts Dutch Mathematical Olympiad for secondary school students

On Friday 14 March 2025, Erasmus School of Economics is proud to host the prestigious Dutch Mathematical Olympiad, a competition that brings together the brightest young mathematical minds from across the Netherlands.

Under the guidance of Twan Dollevoet, Associate Professor at the Econometric Institute, the Dutch Mathematical Olympiad will challenge secondary school students to apply their problem-solving skills in an engaging and competitive environment. This year's event will be further enriched by the presence of two dedicated student ambassadors: Julia op den Akker and Luuk Omvlee. Both ambassadors will be on hand to support and encourage the participants, sharing their own experiences in mathematics and inspiring the next generation of problem-solvers.
