A student’s team of Erasmus School of Economics has won the Dutch finals of the Accuracy Business Cup and will proudly represent the Netherlands at the international finals in Paris on 10 April.
Master's students in Strategy Economics Sanya Garg (India), Andrea Romero Millan (Mexico) and Maria Clara Leoni Guimarães (Brazil) took successfully part in the Dutch competition. According to Sanya Garg, it was a rigorous test of financial analysis and strategic thinking. ‘From conducting an in-depth valuation of Danone’s waters division to pitching an acquisition strategy for its specialised nutrition segment, the experience was truly invaluable’, she says.
The Accuracy Business Cup is an international student competition, which gives the opportunity to work on financial and strategic business cases. In the national rounds of this year’s edition, 711 teams fiercely competed under the supervision of Accuracy consultants.
Sanya, Andrea and Maria will go up against the winners of the other countries during the international final in Paris on 10 April.
