The annual General Financial Reflections are up and running, but what should the entrepreneur take into account? In the BNR Nieuwsradio show Ask me anything Peter Kavelaars, Professor of Fiscal Economics at Erasmus School of Economics, gives answer to all your questions.
One of the questions asked was if it would be possible to lower income taxes for jobs in the public sector, for example with a lower tariff for teachers. According to Kavelaars, a lot of interested parties would want a different tariff and those groups cannot be clearly distinguished. You should be careful with giving a group an advantage, and if you do so it should be via a deduction not with a different tax tariff.
