Robert Swaak, former PwC chairman, is appointed as the new CEO of ABN Amro.
After a search that took more than six months, the bank announced the appointment of Swaak as successor to Kees van Dijkhuizen. Robert Swaak will be appointed on 22 April 2020, which marks the ending of the seven year period in which Kees van Dijkhuizen was CEO of ABN AMRO.
Robert Swaak held different positions on management level at PwC over the period of 2006 to 2013, such as CFO, COO, CHRO and chair of the executive board.
