Alumnus Frans van Houten reappointed as CEO Royal Philips

Frans van Houten, Royal Philips' top executive, doesn't do pointless dinners. On Thursday his term as CEO was extended into a third one, making him the longest serving CEO of the company. Financieel Dagblad researched the 'Van Houten Method' and wrote a portrait about the man 'who doesn't want to be just a tourist'.

Frans van Houten graduated from Erasmus School of Economics in 1985. He has been the CEO of Royal Philips since 2011.
