The christmas tree in the Sanders building

Yesterday afternoon, a 5-meter-high Christmas tree was ignited in the hall of Sanders Building by the Dean of Erasmus School of Economics, Professor Philip Hans Franses, and the Dean of Erasmus School of Law, Professor Suzan Stoter, during a festive gathering. Study association In Duplo, the study association for double degree students in Economics or Business Administration and Dutch (Tax) Law, took the initiative for this.

With the support of the legal faculty association (JFR), Christiaanse-Taxateur (CT) and Criminology in Action (CIA), they carried this idea out. The Christmas tree symbolises the connection between the different faculties of Erasmus University Rotterdam and its students. Moreover, as the tree enlightens the hall of Sanders building, the Christmas tree symbolises that Sanders building is the new home of many of our students and study associations, including Study Association In Duplo.
