Poor diets are the main contributors to early deaths around the globe, and they are among the leading risk factors of mortality and loss in (disability-adjusted) life years. Dietary choices are shown to be related to the risk factors of different diseases, including obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure.
This keynote presentation will give an overview of research on the economics of dietary behaviours.
