Registration in Studielink
Every student who wants to apply for one of the following specialisations of the MSc in Econometrics and Management Science (Analytics and Operations Research in Logistics; Business Analytics and Quantitative Marketing; Econometrics; Quantitative Finance) at Erasmus School of Economics has to register in Studielink for the master Econometrics and Management Science
Studielink is the national enrolment system for all Dutch governmental higher education. More information about how to register in Studielink. A registration in Studielink is necessary before you can continue with your application. After successfully registering in Studielink you will receive an email with a link to the EUR Admissions Portal where you can continue your application
Application fee
All applicants for a (Pre)Master’s programme with a non-Dutch bachelor’s diploma must pay a non-refundable €100 application fee. After registering in Studielink, you will receive instructions to log in to the EUR Admissions Portal, where you may complete the payment. Only after successful payment can you proceed with your application. Applications without payment will not be considered.

Upload required application documents
After successfully paying the application fee you can continue with your application in the EUR Admissions Portal where you need to upload the following required application documents:
- Copy of diploma or graduation statement
- Copy of academic transcript
- Overview of courses to be obtained
- Proof of sufficient mathematics background
- Copy of the TOEFL iBT / TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition, Academic IELTS, Cambridge C1 Advanced or Cambridge C2 Proficiency Test Score Report
- Copy of personal pages passport
- Curriculum Vitae
Detailed explanation of these documents
It is your own responsibility to make sure your documents meet the admission and application criteria before the application deadline. This means that if your documents do not meet the application and admission criteria and the application deadline has passed your application can be withdrawn.
If the application was done successfully, you will receive a copy of the submitted application in your personal mailbox. You will also receive our application newsletter the following workday that informs you about the application procedure and how your application will be processed.
Important:
- Check the spam folder in your e-mail inbox to ensure you do not miss out on any important messages from the university. If an e-mail from us arrives in your spam folder, you can correct this by adding our e-mail address to your contact list.
- Applicants who use a @qq.com email address are requested to use a different email address for their application and future communication with the university because of compatibility problems
Admission decision
The Examination Board reviews each individual application and determines whether the level and content of the bachelor degree are equivalent to that of our bachelor’s degree Econometrics and Operations Research and whether all admission and application criteria as described on this website are met. Should your previous education not be sufficient for admission to a master’s degree programme the Examination Board will always review your application for possible admittance for a pre-master programme instead.
Within 6 weeks of submitting a complete application you will receive the outcome via email.
Submit certified documents
Upon receiving a positive admission decision from the Examination Board, you will receive an email with a link to the Certified Documents Portal requesting you to upload a certified copy of your diploma or graduation statement and transcript if these certified documents were not already present in your application. Please read the information regarding certified documents.
After your certified documents are reviewed and processed you will receive an official admission offer via email accompanied with the terms and conditions and admitted students newsletter with important information to prepare for your arrival in The Netherlands.
Application
The application period for (Pre)Master’s programmes for the 2025-2026 academic year will begin on 1 November 2024 for applicants with a non-Dutch bachelor’s diploma. The deadlines for submission vary depending on your nationality:
Non-EEA applicants with a non-Dutch diploma must submit all documents to complete their application before 1 April 2025.
EEA nationality applicants with a non-Dutch diploma must submit all documents to complete their application before 1 May 2025.
