The Philip Hans Franses scholarship is meant for an excellent student from a non-EEA country* who wants to make a difference and who would not be able to study at Erasmus School of Economics without this scholarship. The scholarship entails that for the duration of the study, with a maximum of 3 years (4 years for a Double bachelor BSc2 student), the student will receive a waiver of the tuition fee, meaning that the student will only have to pay the low statutory fee instead of the high institutional fee.
The scholarship is named after our emeritus Dean and eminent econometrician Philip Hans Franses, who has made important contributions to our School and to the field of econometrics. With this scholarship we hope to inspire students to bring out the best in themselves and make a difference.
