All applicants seeking admission based on another type of diploma than Dutch VWO or HBO Propaedeutic diploma have to pay a handling fee of €100,- before submitting an application. You will be able to pay the handling fee via the EUR Admissions Portal. Applications can only be submitted if the handling fee has been paid. Questions about admissibility are not commented on.
After registering in Studielink you will receive an email with a link to the EUR Admissions Portal where you can continue your application. You will be asked to pay the mandatory fee via the Erasmus payment website by either creditcard or PayPal. The payment of the handling fee is a mandatory step in the application process.
There are no exemptions possible from paying the handling fee except for students who seek admission on basis of the Dutch VWO diploma or HBO Propaedeutic diploma, or students with a refugee status with support from the UAF. For each English-taught bachelor degree programme the fee needs to be paid. Therefore, we kindly ask you to only submit one application, namely the programme which has your preference. Should your application result in a denial, we will automatically review your documents to determine whether you are eligible for one of the other programmes.
Please note that the handling fee will not be refunded no matter the outcome of the application decision, nor will it be refunded when an applicant wishes to withdraw the application after payment.
How to pay
Click on the link to the Erasmus payment website in the EUR Admissions Portal and carefully follow the instructions. It is important that you complete the payment process as indicated otherwise the system cannot register the payment. After the payment is complete you will see a confirmation screen. This is the only confirmation you will receive.
Problems with payment
If you are experiencing any problems with your payment via the Erasmus payment website please contact us via our contact form and report the problem preferably with a print screen of the error you receive. Always mention your student number when contacting the University.
