  • Q-methodology

    Q methodology provides a foundation for the systematic study of subjectivity, people’s views, attitudes or beliefs about a particular topic of interest.
  • Data analysis with R

    In this course the instructor will illustrate the application of R with practical examples. R is widely used open-source software environment for data analysis.
  • English academic writing for PhD candidates

    PhD candidates work on their English language skills, specifically on the academic writing process (organisation and coherence).
  • Research Synthesis and Meta-Analysis

    The course offers a step-by-step guide on how to conduct a meta-analysis, interpret its findings, and effectively communicate the results.
  • Structural equation modelling

    Key terms: quantitative research, structural equation modelling, correlational analysis, causality, R-lavaan software package, introductory course.
  • Discourse analysis

    Key terms: qualitative research, qualitative data analysis, biographic data (textual or visual), positionality, introductory course.
  • Searching and managing your literature

    This three hour workshop focuses on practical aspects of doing your literature review.
