How to reach Erasmus University Rotterdam, Woudestein Campus

By Public Transportation

From Rotterdam Centraal Station
Metro
Take metro line D in the direction of 'De Akkers' in Spijkenisse. Change trains at 'Beurs,' which is the second stop. Continue on either metro line A to 'Binnenhof', B to 'Nesselande,' or C heading for 'De Terp.' All trains in those directions depart from the same platform at “Beurs”. Exit the metro at the fifth stop, 'Kralingse Zoom.' When exiting the station, facing the main road, Erasmus University is directly across the road.

Tram
Alternatively, you can take tram number 7 to 'Erasmus Universiteit (Woudestein)', which leaves from the front of the train station approximately every 10 minutes. The trip will take about 20 minutes and you should exit at the final stop 'Erasmus Universiteit (Woudestein)' in front of the university’s main entrance.

From Station Rotterdam Alexander
Take metro line A, B or C in the direction of 'Schiedam Centrum' or 'De Akkers.' Disembark at 'Kralingse Zoom.' When exiting the station, facing the main road, Erasmus University is directly across the road.

When travelling by public transport in the city of Rotterdam, the use of an OV-chipcard is mandatory. For more information on the OV-chipcard, as well as maps and time tables, visit the website of the RET (Rotterdam public transport operator).

By Air

Arrival at Schiphol Airport Amsterdam 
Take a train to Rotterdam Centraal Station (Rotterdam Central Train Station) from the airport's railway station. The trip will take approximately 50 minutes by regular train, or 27 minutes by high speed train Fyra.

From Rotterdam Centraal you can then take a taxi to Erasmus University, campus Woudestein (15 minutes), or continue your journey by public transport.

By Car

The Woudestein campus is situated very near the Van Brienenoordbrug ('brug' = bridge). The Van Brienenoordbrug is crossed by the A16 motorway. This is where you have to get off the A16.

If you come from the south (A16, direction Breda and Antwerp): keep following the signs Den Haag until you see the signs Capelle a/d IJssel and Rotterdam Centrum. Keep following the direction Rotterdam Centrum and you will see the direction to the university.

If you come from the north (A13): keep following the direction Dordrecht/A16 until you see the sign Capelle a/d IJssel and Rotterdam Centrum. Keep following the direction Rotterdam Centrum and automatically you will see the direction of the university.

If you come from the east (A12/A20): same route as coming from the north (Dordrecht/A16 and Rotterdam Centrum). 

PARKING

Due to renovations, there are only a limited number of parking spaces available.
