Prof. Dr Joop Koppenjan

Twenty years of international leading research on governance and networks at Erasmus University Rotterdam is the basis for this challenging Master’s programme in Governance in the Public Sector. 

The programme offers students the best of two worlds: theoretical frameworks to understand the nature of wicked problems and complex networks, and managerial skills, which they need to manage networks in order to tackle these problems.

We aim to educate students to become policymakers and advisors who are sensitive to complexity and have the skills to operate as network managers. They should be able to commit and connect to citizens, businesses, policymakers and politicians in order to collaborate on the development of creative and innovative solutions.
