Biography
Thomas Reindersma is a PhD candidate in the Health Services Management & Organisation research group at the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management. His doctoral research focuses on the implementation of alternative payment and funding models for health and social care. Through case study research, he investigates how managers and professionals in hospitals, care offices, health insurers, and municipalities deal with such initiatives. His research is informed by theories of management and organization. Thomas Reindersma holds a bachelor's degree in Technology Management and a master's degree in Supply Chain Management. He previously held posts at the Faculty of Economics & Business and the Aletta Jacobs School of Public Health, University of Groningen, as research assistant.
