Biography
Olga Slivko is Assistant Professor at the Department of Technology and Operations Management at Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus University.
Olga conducts research in the field of Digital Economy and Information Systems focusing on the drivers of user-generated content (UGC). She particularly analyzes data from knowledge repositories (such as Wikipedia and StackExchange) and social networks (Twitter) and applies economic modeling and experiments. Her research aims at measuring economic and societal impact of UGC and understanding how platform governance mechanisms and policy regulations affect UGC.
Olga holds a Ph.D. and in Economics from University Rovira i Virgili (Spain), M.Sc. in Economics of Science and Innovation from Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and a Diploma (equivalent to M.Sc.) in Business Informatics from the NRU HSE (Moscow). Before joining Rotterdam School of Management, she worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Digital Economy at Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW, Mannheim).
