In October 2020, PhD candidate Eric Slob of Erasmus School of Economics and the Erasmus Research Institute of Management will join the Medical Research Council Biostatistics Unit at the University of Cambridge as a Research Associate.
Eric Slob finished his Master in Econometrics and Management Science (specialisation Econometrics) at Erasmus School of Economics in 2016 and subsequently started his PhD research at the Erasmus Research Institute of Management.
He is also affiliated with EURIBEB, the Erasmus University Rotterdam Institute for Biology and Economic Behaviour. EURIBEB is an interdisciplinary research institute that links the social sciences with biology and health. In his PhD research, Eric methodologically advances the integration of genetics into economics. He is supervised by Dr Niels Rietveld, Prof. Patrick Groenen and Prof. Roy Thurik.
